It is not about me "telling" you what
I have done, it is about me "listening".

As we feel the pressures of the economy, our focus will be to uphold a fiscally responsible, open, responsive and accountable government. We must continue to hold the line on taxes while working to provide improved services and infrastructure.

In addition to upholding our open space commitment and implementation of a comprehensive storm-water management plan, I am encouraging our board to work with the Township Manager to hire our own in house Traffic Engineer. As traffic is one of our most complex problems, this person would work as a liaison with Developers, PADOT, SEPTA and others to mitigate our traffic problems, maintain our roads and facilitate development of a safe, walkable community with trail extensions. Many of our storm-water problems are related to poor road and inlet design and paving issues on our State Roads.

Supporting our Police and Fire services through training and preparation for any type of disaster including school emergencies is critical for our future.

Open lines of communication, debate and consensus encourage citizens to be included in the decision making process. After 8 years of serving this community it is not about me "telling" you what I have done, it is about "listening"? to you.

We knew it was going to be a close race going into it because of the demographics of the Fifth Ward.

While times and opinions always change, I will remain consistent in representing your needs with and open, accountable, and sincere interest in what is best for our Township.
